The organization called Jaipur Foot is the world’s largest organization (by number of people helped) for fitting prosthetic limbs for the handicapped. It has 22 branches in India, has held more than 50 artificial limb and caliper fitment camps in 26 countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America – most recently in Kabul, Afghanistan.
It fit about 25,000+ limbs last year alone – the number of people it has helped is astounding – the costs are unbelievably low
It is a charity – treatment is done free of cost – often the same day. Donations are always welcome. As a goodwill gesture to Jordan, the organization has offered to hold a camp in Jordan if there are sufficient people wo needs the services or help fit prosthetic limbs for a group of people that are flown in to the city.
Thanks to all who helped with Eid distributions & toys for kids! Our new campaign is sponsoring poor but bright students to get an education, help them escape poverty, and reach their dream in life! Education is key for their success, the success of the community, success of the economy and the success of the country. If you would like to support a student; their fees, books or transportation, please contact us!
Wishing you a great summer!
